Day 1

On the first day, as soon as you arrive at New Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport, Travelogy India’s executive will welcome you. He will then assist you to the hotel where your stay has been arranged.

There you will be handed over with all the documents related to the tour and will be given a brief explanation about the tour. An overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 2

Delhi as a city is a mix of Mughal and 21st century architecture. What you will see in the next 9 hours of the day is just this! So, soon after you finish your breakfast we will take you to Humayun’s Tomb – one of the most perfectly crafted out mausoleums of Delhi.

The second destination is Swaminrayan Temple – one of the best Indian Temples architectures to be seen. Once you finish these two, we shall take you around to see Qutub Minar and Red Fort– both UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITES!

From here we move on to see Jama Masjid (another UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE) and India Gate (Both of these will be covered from a distance).

Lunch shall be ethnic North Indian delicacies placed before you. After lunch we will get a glimpse of 21st century architecture in the form of Lotus Temple and Indian Habitat Centre. In the evening a local walk in Chandni Chowk Market where you can shop for local dresses and artificial jewellery. Dinner and night stay shall be in the hotel.

Day 3

Delhi to Agra is a smooth road ride which we will cover soon after breakfast, the next morning. On reaching Agra and after refreshing at the hotel; we will take you to see one of the Seven Wonders of the World – The Taj Mahal. As unique it is in description of books; more unique it is in its looks! It surpasses your mind and imagination when you take a close look at it.

Do not forget to look at the frescos, Persian and Arabic carvings and eight marble panels which make it so unique. It took 17 years to make this marvel of pure white marble brought all the way from Makrana.

After lunch in a good restaurant, we shall move on to see the Red Fort of Agra. It’s the place from where Emperor Shah Jahan used to see Taj Mahal when he was captivated by his own son.

After this we move on to see other historical sites – Tomb of Itimad–ud–Dualah, Tomb of Akbar the Great and Guru Ka Taal.

In the evening you can shopping for souvenirs. Dinner shall be served in the hotel only.

Day 4

Agra to Jaipur is a 5 hours drive which we will begin after breakfast. In the mid way we will see Fatehpur Sikri. It covers one of the most beautiful and largest mosque in the world – Jama Masjid. It’s somewhat similar on the lines you have seen in Old Delhi.

However, it’s more famous for its Dargah of Sheikh Salim Chisti. It’s made of white marble and very intricately carved. People to this day ask for their “murad” or wishes when they visit this pious place. After visiting this place, lunch shall be placed.

We will touch Jaipur in the evening where you can check – in the hotel room. Dinner shall be served in the hotel.

Day 5

Jaipur the Capital of Rajasthan – is a colourful city. It’s Pink coloured walls speak a lot about it. New Jaipur is filled with chaos as far as traffic is concerned; but the older part still hounds the past. After you finish you breakfast, we will show you a glimpse of Royalty.

The first historical building to be seen here is Hawa Mahal – the honeycombed – 5 story building which was built for the royal ladies to see the city. Do not forget to take a photograph with one of the small windows or Jharokhas here!

Next destination is the Amer/Amber Fort. Here look out for Queens and Kings Royal rooms, separate dining areas for both, armoury museum and miniature wall paintings.

Next is City Palace which also happens to be the Royal residence of present Prince and Princess. Here you can see the Silver miniature museum, large Silver Urns and the miniature painting factory. In the latter half of the day, we shall cover Solar Observatory, Lake Palace and Nahargarh Fort. In the evening shop for souvenirs at Babu Market and then move back to the hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day 6

It would not be wrong to say that Jaipur and Udaipur are two jewels of Rajasthan and so our next destination is Udaipur. Udaipur - the City of Lakes is encapsuled in between lakes and hence the name. So, next morning we will reach Udaipur by Road. In between we will stop at Ranakpur which is famous for its Jain Temples. Take a break and enjoy the beautiful of the temples as we serve you lunch. Dinner and night stay at Udaipur Hotel only.

Day 7

Udaipur is famous for its lakes and palaces. It's the place where James Bond Octopussy was shot and many of Bollywood movies are frequently shot. So, soon after you finish your breakfast we shall take you to City Palace. See the world’s largest crystal gallery in City Palace and then move on to see the Lake Palace. For lunch we shall take you to Maharana Sawai Madho Singh Vintage Car Museum. After lunch, we shall take you to Shilpgram. Basically a crafts bazaar; Shilpgram showcases Indian handicraft in totality. In the evening, enjoy boating at Fateh Sagar Lake after which we shall take you for Light and Sound Show. Dinner shall be served in the hotel.

Day 8

Jodhpur is known as the Sun City of Rajasthan. It’s a 5 hours ride down the lane. After breakfast at Udaipur hotel we shall begin for Jodhpur. In between we will take a short break at one of the resorts for ethnic Rajasthani lunch. On reaching Jodhpur, check – in into your hotel room and have dinner. Sleep tight as we have a number of places to explore!

Day 9

Jodhpur is famous for three things – Mehrangarh Fort, Umaid Bhavan Palace and Mehandi! So, the first thing we will seen on 9th day of the tour is Mehrangarh Fort - the longest Fort of India. What is unique here is the armoury and the paintings which are all across the fort.
Umaid Bhawan Palace built by British Architect Henry Lanchester, is the official residence of present Maharajah. See the architectural beauty of the place and enjoy coffee/tea at the Coffee Shop of the Palace. Soon after lunch, we will take you to see the Jain Temples. Take a city tour in the evening as we take you shopping. You can also try Mehndi application in the evening if you wish! Dinner shall be served in the hotel only.

Day 10

Our next destination is Jaisalmer – the Golden City of Rajasthan. We will begin for this place after you finish your breakfast. It’s a 4 hours drive and we reach by noon. Check in the hotel and have lunch as we shall take you for a city tour in the evening. Take a boat ride in Gadisagar lake or simply sit by it. You can also shop a little here. In the evening we will take you for Puppet show in at Thar Heritage Museum. This dying art of India is a must see. Dinner shall be served in the hotel.

Day 11

Jaisalmer is known for its Sand Dunes and Havelis. Once you are here, you get to see both. Soon after a heavy breakfast, we shall set on to see Kuldhara Village. This famous haunted village is just half hour drive from Jaislmer. Get to know more about it from your tour guide. After this we will be back to see Jaisalmer Fort and Nathmal Ji Ki Haveli. Both of these give a good peep into the living lifestyle of the then Kings and the rich! Soon after lunc we shall take you to Sand Dunes for true Rajasthani Cultural Programme and dinner. Here we will take you for a Camel Ride too!

Day 12

Our next destination is Bikaner. It’s a sunny place to be in and its famous for its Camel festival. It will be evening when we will reach Bikaner. Lunch will be mid - way and dinner shall be at the hotel. The first thing we shall see here is the Junagarh Fort famous for its courtyards, balconies, chattris and towers. Watch out for superb stone carvings and Rajasthani paintings. After this we shall move on to see Bhandsagar Temple – the famous Jain Temples. Made on the orders of Bhandasa Oswal – a wealthy Jain merchant; it has got the most stunning architecture inside. After this we shall see around Laxminath Temple. For dinner and night stay we shall be back in the hotel.

Day 13

On the second last day of the tour, we shall see some of the best tourist places around Mandawa. Its famous for its Rajasthani Havelis and the architecture of these. Here we shall take you to some of the most famous havelis of Mandawa – Bansidhar Newatia, Murmuria and Chokhani Double Haveli. Watch out for peacock and European art paintings.

Day 14

On the last day of the tour we shall set back to New Delhi soon after breakfast. On reaching Delhi we shall say bye to you for your onward journey. Our representatives shall escort you to airport for further journey!
